I watched the podcast segment Kirsche appeared on an anon from last thread mentioned. Kirsche is spinning this as some culture war intent and her as the victim of it rather than her being a brand risk. She goes on about "poor treatment", disrespect and being patronized at by the director but he was "cordial" and she would still go to Off Kai anyway if they apologizes and people totally shouldn't throw away their tickets. It it just so wired.

The host to podcast refer to Off Kai as "anger Californians" that "are about diversity and inclusion" and then admits he doesn't even know what the hell a v-tuber convention would look like. Apparent he will make a convention just for Kirsche so we will see what happens with that. Kirsche mentioned Off Kai hasn't contacted her since.

I said it in earlier threads, but this all really feels like Kirsche saw the shit with Helldivers and Niji, and the general tide turning in the cultural zeitgeist (think stuff like the Cass study), and thought she could spin it into outrage culture supporting her.

I don't know what to tell her, especially if she's /here/, but what did she expect to happen when her entire brand is exposing and shitting on DEI/alphabet communists? I find her ranting to be entertaining, but there's no way in hell anyone not vehemently /pol/ would want her around.

I think Kirsche made three mistakes in this situation:
- she made the threat to go public
- she leaked a lot of information from behind the scenes
- she board stroked Off Kai (the event itself and everyone in it) off of very little evidence

At this point it's less about political views and Kirsche being an association risk.

Regardless, Alinsky said that movements are more likely to succeed when they focus attention on a specific person instead of a vague group. Kirsche made a big mistake trying to attack offkai in general because it’s a group with lots of people and nobody has any idea who is responsible. And no, centering attention on the weirdo who coded their software has nothing to do with the situation at hand and is just desperate. If she had beef with a specific person it would make a lot more sense. She’s from the dramasphere so she should know that every drama that trends and takes off is about a specific person and every organization that gets in trouble has a figurehead or scapegoat.
