In the invaders program you have the choice of starting over with a new model/assets or joining with your pre-existing model. If one chooses to join with their model that does not mean phase permanently owns that model. The reason Yuri "lost" her model is because she decided to sell her IP for a lump some of cash and a brand new shiny model.
