Debuting talents are contractually obligated to do a quota. Sana literally graduated because she couldn't fulfill it. They get a new contract after 1 year. This from older gens, who grinded for a couple of years, and proved themselves, are getting a much more chill schedule, because they already made the IP valuable. Even without streaming much, everyone knows who Gura is - she is one of the most recognizable vtubers, and her merch sells like hotcakes. She like the Brock Lesnar of Hololive, or the John Cena - you don't need her on a weekly basis. just during the PPV's, because she sells tickets anyway.
