The only non big 3 chuubas I saw when I went to AX 2 years ago was phase connect/tsunderia, and when I talked to the phase CEO he more or less said he regretted getting a booth there since it was extremely expensive and not alot of people were coming by.
Compare that to JP where even fucking Comiket, a historically known Tohou con, is now almost entirely vtuber panels and booths.
Guess we are still a long ways from vtubing being close to mainstream in the west...

I genuinely cant imagine Rosemi leaving any time soon, even if Matara tries to talk her out of it to join Vshojo. Her departure would be very late compared to Pomu and Selen so she wouldn't be able to take advantage of the hype surrounding a Niji member leaving the company. And even then people would still be skeptical about whether she's part of the clique since she did retweet the black screen stream like nearly every other member in the branch, even though she still uses Selen in her intro.

A substantial portion of her continued support is because she didn't unperson Selen out of her intro video. If she censors her intro, or is forced by management to censor it, that will kill off that portion of her support; she absolutely would not regain that support while at Niji, and it would be extremely difficult (though not impossible) for her to regain even a small portion of that support as an indie or by getting poached by Gunrun or Fishman.

Management absolutely would retaliate against Rosemi if they're communicating behind the scenes and they found out about it. At an absolute minimum, her giving Doki so much as the time of day would guarantee that she'd be suspended until well after the AX show, and they'd tweet like 3 days beforehand that she can't attend due to "unforeseen reasons;" and it would also guarantee that she'd get the boot the nanosecond the branch closes, if not earlier.
