They also said that they will prevent a holosweep situation, although given that there's not much details that revealed at this moment, I'm not sure how exactly that can be done in order to prevent a dog and pony show.

Anyway, I'm half liking this fake fact. If the reaction towards Kobo is indeed the most meager (not zero though, no way), then it should be a slap in the face for the management. That no matter how hard a vtuber try to pander to overseas fans, as long as they bear the flag of ID then they won't ever win against the real overseas vtubers.
Time to go back to the roots, sure it's a pain to target the intended audience of ID market with the poor purchasing power. But maybe try to be more innovative, don't rely on selling overpriced goods. If they do, maybe try to target the more extreme fans like BFE or GFE fans, SOL4CE success today is an undeniable proof.
In the end if they don't want to attract that kind of crowd, just be innovative. There must be a lot of ways to make money off vtubers popularity beside selling overpriced merch. Especially in ID where despite being poor is a huge market.

I don't think she's the one who decides everything regarding Holo ID. At most, she just compiles some assessments of the branch performance and present it to the board of central management. Those central JP management headed by Yagoo is the one who decides everything.
Even if Gita is replaced, I doubt it would change much, if the central management still insists on the Holo ID to promote Holostars. Especially now that there's a rise of fujo pandering ID vtubers.
If you want Holo ID to stay away from males, vote with your money. ID gachikois should band together to voice their opinion that they don't want males, using their money as voting power. Make the central management realizes that gachikoi market is alive and well in ID, beating the "sister-brother relationship" market. Additional context:
Since I was able to find some old pictures from CF16, let me share it here. MAHA5 is still the same, although if memory serves they weren't that isolated compared to CF18 yesterday. There's also Livium booth, which only occupied 1 space, and they had to share it with Kovee VR (not sure what it was). I was also able to take a picture of Metanoia booth, which was the last time they participated in CF before they ceased operation. Lastly there was AKA booth (I think I also photographed Cae there).

Holo (and Niji, CMIIW) never opens a booth, and their MO of establishing presence are by doing activities in stage and organizing a MnG (in the case of Holo). In a way, maybe what Treerat was saying is right, they couldn't afford to open a booth like AKA did, because they don't have that many local staffs.
