But Laplus did bring it into hololive. It was her persistence that caused management to cave and let some of them join VCR at the end of 2022. And in 2023, male collabs exploded in the JP branch with many of the same people involved with VCR.
Before Laplus, the only JP holos that regularly collabed with males were Towa and Matsuri and occasionally Fubuki with holostars. But last year saw a huge increase in male collabs even among members that either rarely did it or never did it like Mel.
Aki and Botan completely pivoted their content towards 90% male collabs and now even Ayame and Koyori are collabing with males.
It was because of Laplus getting closer to CR and demanding management let them bring them into hololive. Laplus is by far the worst hire they ever made.
