Vshojo is extremely loose with any rules it has and just lets the talent do whatever they want with whoever they want, own their own IP, and make all their own money on stream. By comparison to traditional vtubing corpos before them at the time, such as Holo and Niji, they were much closer to an Indy. When they debuted it was essentially just band with some managers.

Shylily couldn't get her dual PC set up to work right and lamented if she had been in in corpo/agency it would've been easier because they just set that shit up for you.
