I find the increased monetization off putting myself but if you think of it in a big picture way it's a sign of more ambitious projects to come. The 50% cut no longer needs to feed 8 or however many managers there are now as they are now employed by CE and have salaries, insurance, etc. So that means the cut can now fund other things, unless CE compartmentalized kawaii's finances so the cut needs to surpass management salaries or something.

Events focus attention, so it's obvious to create them. Current examples are Kaya's Matsuri and those Karaoke Relays from other companies. These could be anything, from karaoke to a specific game to gunpla or baking cookies. Now you have 16 events which attract attention from outside the company. Additionally, you're positioned as the host of the event, so you can name it after yourself and give yourself focus in the promo materials. Varied events will bring in different types of viewers. These events could happen monthly or less to avoid burnout (for the organizers, the participants and the viewers). There's your free idea of the week lmao
