I do definitely feel like those three (Matara/Nina, Kuro/Mysta, Michi/Mika) were on the same book when it came to it. They were too close for it. But with terrible working conditions, and just fucking everything Nijisanji was doing, and lastly ARLIVE, that wasn't going to cut it for them.

Nijisanji are the ones who decided to attack and smear Doki's reputation on two different occasions for no good reason whatsoever, using their own talents as human shields and mouthpieces for the company while the faceless management hid behind them. Do you think people like Elira and Vox decided by themselves to lock their channels and memory hole the black frame stream? They would love to talk about it if they could, at least to get some pity points from their own fanbases. The talents can't even defend themselves because Nijisanji doesn't let them.

You don't have to like or side with Doki. Hell, you can even keep trying to convince yourself that she is a grifter. But it should be pretty easy to see that Nijisanji is using the talents as scapegoats to cover their own fuckups. The organs are only in this mess thanks to Nijisanji. And it wasn't an accident, it was by design.

Management could get out there at any moment to get some heat off from the talents. They could admit that some mistakes were made and that they are working hard on creating a safe space for their talents and preventing the Doki situation from happening again. They wouldn't even need to do anything, just make vague promises about changing things. But they won't do that because they already chose their strategy: let the talents take the fall.

My best guess is that they were afraid that Selen would choose to go the Zaion route and release a manifesto telling everything what she saw during her time as a liver.
