I'm almost sure this was a choice made by either Ina or her manager. Listening to some of her unarchived karaokes, her voice is rather pleasant but shakes too much. This is rather noticeable when she holds vocals when singing. The auto tune correction is actually low on VIOLET, but because her voice tends to shake a lot, her voice sounds a bit compressed due to the correction applied to it. Unless she improves that aspect, her singles will have her voice a bit compressed.

Currently operating under the assumption that a couple of the other lore schizos came to that the dates all refer to this year. The dates appear in order starting from 4/03 in the video, so it wouldn't make sense for them to start with Ina's debut. Under this model 5/20 refers to Ina's birthday, 9/13 to her first anniversary, and 10/16 and 11/29 to unknown future events or streams. This leaves 4/03 as the only unknown. From what I gathered from this thread, her streams that day were unremarkable, so I went into the archives to check the /wah/ thread from 4/03 to search for other leads. What I found next shocked me. 4/03 is the date of Ina's debut in HolofightZ as well as her debut victory against Mori. But I didn't stop there. The other theory I'm entertaining is that each of the bible verses are directly related to the event of the date they appear with. So does this check out with the HolofightZ theory? "Hatred [beef between the two fighters] stirs up dissension [leads to a fight], but love [Ina, obviously] covers over [pins] all wrongs [Mori, synonymous with death itself]." This is as far as I've gotten so far, but after this discovery I am fully convinced that I'm on the right track.

When Ina gets back and we have the watchalong she’s probably going to say that the deeper meaning of the video has to do with her depressive period and Ane’nis inspiring her to draw again. Ina referred to the flower when speaking of Violet (not the color) today, and is seen wearing Blue Violets in her hair during the MV.

At the beginning and end of the song, Ina doesn't "smell" these flowers --at the beginning, she becomes anxious and delves into the unknown to solve her problem. At the end, this anxiety has disappeared (notably immediately after November 29th is shown does this verse arrive) and the song ends confirming how the clouds (which Ina has continuously stated to be one of her all-time favorite things to search for 'inspiration') will end up convincing her to return.

So basically, what I took from the song is that Ina was unbearably anxious while entering Hololive. Even faced with such overwhelming love she still wasn't sure if it could be something she'd remain doing. The events are listed in order of how much impact they had on her mentality, making her question why she should stick around but also facing something that convinces her the struggle is worth it, further solidifying her position within Hololive as a result. The motif of violets is used as a promise and apology to Takos that she decided (whenever this song was made) to stay with us from now on because even though it's stressful, in the end she loves it (and us) - aka, she will fully become Ina

Only Ina can say for sure, but it could very well be. The reason the translation went with the english title is because she uses the same old kanji in the lyrics for voice (聲), instead of the much more common 声, which she will then use in a few seconds, indicating that if it was just an aesthetic preference, it was for one specific line, and not the whole song.
