Schizos never stopped being a thing. 4 was a good time but there were still frequent "Beryl mogs Runoxi" spam posts, numberfagging tier lists, and skinwalkers. 3 had too much stupid drama to bother recounting because during that time (which is agreed to be a pretty long time) there were dozens and dozens of debuts and the thread was essentially treated like a discord venting channel with anonymous cover. Now things are basically an admixture of immigrants from /wvt/ who realized that /asp/ is faster and actually has vtubers reading it, schizos drawn in by /wasp/'s rise and decline, the same old boring schizos that have been around since gen 3 and chuubas/viewers who can't resist feeding those trolls.
The amount of time people spend actually discussing craft, content and vtubing is as low as it ever has been. I'd say we get one thread in 10 where people actually talk about what they're doing or what they want to do instead of just shitposting, replying to shitposters or hornyposting in gross or weird ways.
The vagueposting isn't even a new development. The only thing new about it is that now it's people pretending to be hyper-parasocial viewers pining for this vtuber or that viewer or whatever.

I was doing an art stream and was listening to a genre of music called dungeon synth. I started narrating a fantasy adventure off the top of my head that followed the feel of the music as the tracks changed. It sounds weird but it was surprisingly fun and chat seemed to like it a lot.

I kind of want to do a stream based on that concept except highly planned with a story outline and the order of the tracks planned out in advance. I just don't have the time or energy to do that at the moment.

I think my weakness is that I don't have a strong idea for what my channel should be. Its a bit of a mess. Most often people complement my voice, so maybe that is my strong point.
