Just the one race for this morning, and it's a big one: the first ever Talent Freedom 100 for Indie Lights drivers and special guests. 29 drivers will be racing on the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval for 30 laps, and the winner will enter tomorrow's qualifying heat for the Indie 500. Talent Freedom 100 top 3:
1. Tomoe Umari
2. Aozora Furia
3. Inami Yoki

Complete domination on the IMS oval for Tomoe Umari on an otherwise chaos-filled race that saw only 10 finishers! In fact, most everyone in the race caught at least a piece of the action on the track. Even Tomoe had a bit of a blooper forcing her to stop in pit lane, and even then, she still maintained her 1+ lap lead over the rest of the field. So I owe her $3, and I'll have to make an IndieCar livery for her for tomorrow's Indie 500 qualifying session. Let's see how she does in that heat, but not before rounds 3 and 4 of the IndieCar 13th series at Milwaukee and Las Vegas!
