Since AniLive (NEXAS' streaming app) wiped the free alpha coins last night, and there is currently no way to buy coins, there is no way to donate to the NEXAS talents.
Since they also have no salary, they are literally not getting paid for streaming. They are working for free, for minimuum 2 hours a day 5 days a week.
One of them mentioned that you won't be able to donate until after the alpha, and there is currently no date in sight for that.
I believe this is 100% a literal scam for unpaid labor. I would be surprised if it were legal in the first world even as "independent contractors".

ANYCOLOR:
Stock trading has finished for the last time for Anycolor's Q4 today. Their last closing for the quarter will be at 2195¥ (+10), a slight dip but still a positive note to start the week if we're being optimistic. Post lunch trajectory had them dip slightly but they've recovered enough to have a marginal gain.
Their Q4 stock performance leaves them at a 1590¥ loss since January 31st. A resounding 42% loss since that date.
Do keep in mind however, we're technically in Q4 for the next 8-9 hours as of me writing this. While I don't think anything will happen immediately, if Anycolor wishes to do a immediate graduation/termination they could probably put it in Q4 by technicality (Not sure of the legal/business ruling on this. So if anyone can confirm on whether not it's applicable please say so.)
Overall, stay on guard this week. We have no idea what's gonna happen. Something may happen, or as they say: "Nothing ever happens."

COVER CORP:
Cover however isn't so lucky as they end the 1st month of their Q1. Closing out a loss of 1708¥ (-40). The stock had no ability to recover a hour in, and proceeded to even scrape into 1699¥ briefly. I expect there to be more shorting of the stock up until the Q4 report for them in a couple of weeks. I don't expect it to make a immediate recovery from it's damage since February, though I think it has the potential to buck the trend to a eventual recovery.

Hololive prepares localization of MD and license for VTuber global expansion

As various types of Japanese entertainment such as movies and anime are once again recognized as the "world standard," the VTuber scene, which refers to virtual livers, is rapidly gaining momentum.


Looking at the world ranking of VTuber channel subscribers (according to user local research) as of February 13, 2024, 8 out of the top 10 are talents affiliated with Hololive. Also, in 1st, 6th, and 7th place are talents from Hololive English and Hololive Indonesia, which are professional overseas groups

It was around 2019 that we started to see a reaction from overseas. Hololive's 3D animation content “Holo no graffiti'', which was launched in May of the same year, had a major influence on this. Through these videos, overseas users who learned about Hololive's talent gradually became aware of the appeal of the long-term live broadcasts, known as the “Hololive Swamp.”

The regions with the most responses were several Asian countries, followed by the United States.

Also, Hololive's first talent to become popular overseas was Shirakami Fubuki. She was praised for her cute voice that goes well with the anime look, and for singing “Scatman” with that voice.

The most important thing for domestic VTubers to expand overseas is not to aim,'' Tanigo said. Even when auditioning for talent, he doesn't really care about the overseas reception. “People overseas want to watch it “as it is.” Their popularity has increased around the world. As for VTubers, their core fans from overseas want to be able to follow the same timing as Japanese people. I've been aware of this since the time when there was little access from outside the country."

Hololive Indonesia was launched in 2020 as a local expansion for the world, and Hololive English was established in 2021. “If we don't have local talent, we won't be able to provide a lot of content.It would be unrealistic to translate all of the huge amount of Japanese content that is uploaded every day into the local language, so in the end, it would be easier to see and listen to it if it was distributed in the local language. So we hired local talent and expanded locally."

Currently, the overseas ratio of monthly views of Hololive Production's overall YouTube distribution remains at 30-40%. In Japan, VTubers have already begun to penetrate the general public, but regarding the recognition of VTubers overseas, there is a possibility that they will become a category first for anime fans and game viewers, but they are not as popular as they are in Japan. Regarding the possibility of this becoming common, Tanigo says, “It will take some time.''

The main points of fog right now are with AniLive, which Harry has made clear he really isn't involved in. Captain isn't likely to answer any questions, either.
Here's the problem: AniLive being disconnected from NEXAS, and Harry being willing to bail from AniLive if the platform doesn't grow, together means that the companies only have a working relationship right now. They basically exist to prop each other up while it's convenient to do so. Harry can try and pressure Captain to push up timetables (like the alpha or monetization), but ultimately doesn't have control over what AniLive does. Captain's angle in all this is easy, because it's the same angle he's always had: Make the app look good enough for somebody else to buy it, sit in an advisory role for a bit, then move to the next project. But we now lack a solid understanding of what Harry's goals are. We either have to assume there's an angle that hasn't yet been considered, or he's actually honest about his goals.
I'm more concerned with the possibility that it's NOT a scam. It would mean that Harry legitimately is gambling in real time with some of the shittiest odds possible, to try and change the nature of the game that's being played. Which is frankly more dangerous than if it's not a scam. The honest ones are always the worst to watch out for.

Anycolor remains on that high note today, closing out their 1st day of the fiscal year with a rallying 2267¥ (+72), now looking at a gain of 82¥ this week overall. With such high numbers, it's possible we may be seeing a momentum shift occur barring any major events that stop in their tracks. However there are still a few before they can even think about recovering from the Q3 report crash.

COVER CORP:
Cover continues it's shelling of it's stock price by dropping down to 1670¥ (-38), breaking into the 1600s and their newest low since May 9th of last year. The only good news to take from today is that the bump post lunch bought them enough time to not dip any lower than it did. They currently face a 78¥ loss for the week. At this rate it's unlikely we'll see it get close to the 2000¥ barrier at the rate of their losses.

The Nikkei closed out on a .34% loss today.
The gap between the two has shot up to 597¥.

ANYCOLOR REGRESSES ON A POSITIVE NOTE
Anycolor stayed stable after lunch closing the day out as they dipped down to 2214¥ (-53). Despite this loss, Anycolor has done the impossible and for the first time has had a overall positive week, going from 2185¥ to 2214¥, a 29¥ increase. Granted the only reason such achievement exists is partly because it was a 3 day week, but I digress. It's hard to say what will happen next for them, especially with this 4 day weekend. However looking at the data, the past 7 days have had the stock fluctuate in the high 2100s-2200s. I think we've may have finally stabilized for now, barring any events or they rid us of that margin ban.

COVER IS STILL FALLING (x2)
Cover Corp continued to fall slight after lunch, closing out the day at 1645¥ (-25), capping off the week with a 103¥ loss overall. This is now their SIXTH straight loss going week to week. Expect this stock to hit the 1500s and maybe even 1400s before the report drops.

Hololive JP is had steady growth for this month, and I think it's possible that they hold on the #1 spot from here on out.
Hololive EN has grown so much that it now laps them twice in hours watched. The success of Advent has been a huge boost for them.
DEV_IS is holding strong for a 5 member group at 1.5 million hours watched. However we're gonna need to check back next year to see how they held up.
Both Stars and Hololive ID have gone down overall, with StarsEN being dealt the brunt of the damage. I can explain StarsEN decrease with Vesper and Magni's departure, but Indonesia and Stars elude me, any explanations would be appreciated.
Nijisanji is down across the board for both branches, NijiJP shrunk as much as HoloJP despite huge events like Kazuha/Kanae's and ROFMAO's concerts, perhaps drama from NijiEN has scared people off from NijiJP as well.
But NijiEN has continued to free fall in stats, with a 55% decrease in watch hours DESPITE events like ARLive, 3D events, and Virtual Rhapsody. The loss of many of their top female talents and Mysta + Kyo has shown how fragile their ecosystem was.
Outside of the big two, many small corpos have seen massive growth, most notably Phase and VEE. Neo Porte fell hard compared to last year.

For HolostarsJP I think the huge hit in hours watched is a combo of this years VCR Rust being kind of uneventful as opposed to last years, plus this time last year a couple of StarsJP were competing in VSaikyou.
