This is the part that's most confusing.
Unlike Jerma or Ster or basically any other old name who used to play TF2 but now barely does, Sonny didn't want to transition to a new type of content. He wanted to STOP making content entirely. Literally all he ever had to do was just say "I'm feeling burnout and wanna/might quit" and nobody would have batted an eye, there's millions of Youtubers like that. But instead he had to add his name to the annals of history as one of the relatively few who've faked a death for... no discernable reason? And even came back himself for also no reason? People were breaking their backs bending over backwards to rationalize his steam account coming back as him "gifting it to a friend after his passing", and that was seen as a completely believable.

The man is just baffling to me.
