Is the state of Nijisanji reputation unrepairable in the west at this point? How many more blunders can one company make?

I know anons want it to happen, but that will be the actual final nail in the coffin in the long term for Niji as a whole because it proves Anycolor fails to do what every company wants to succeed - an international branch

An international branch symbolizes the company's growth. No one wants to invest in a company catering to one country which is their own. And there are very rare cases of a company abandoning a Western market

If Riku decides to kill of EN, not only will he destroy any last bridges with EN sisters (and any sisters who continue to stay are fans of JP anyway), but also he will destroy any good faith with the Western market in general, which is still bigger than Chinese one

I believe the actual fourth quarter ends today, but it will be a bit before they're done their financials and then hold the investor call - I think it will likely be mid-June. I do not expect anything to happen - i.e. things like the branch being dissolved/merged or new graduations - before the investor call.

>>74801651
I think EN won't be dissolved, they will probably try to rebrand and create a new branch like "Anycolor International," and merge what's left of EN with their other overseas talents. EN as it's presently constituted simply can't continue, and what can't continue won't continue. I'm anticipating something like a 50%-75% revenue drop in Q4.

My expectation is they will mass graduate everyone who wants to leave as part of the rebranding. If you want to know who is going to be leaving, see who has recently reactivated their PLs.

I am not sure how many of them have reactivated their PLs at this point, I think it's almost all of them. I know I've heard Vivi, Kunai, Scarle, and Aia have all done it. I think some of the boys have too. I am not sure if any of the big troublemakers (Elira/Enna/Luca/Millie/Vox) have done it yet.

In terms of international, there's a handful of ID/KR talents still hanging on. This has a decent listing: https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/all-nijisanji-members-en-jp-graduated-more-2205600/

I think admitting fault and overhauling the company would have helped them in February or even March, but it's too late for that now. A lot of those subs they lost aren't coming back. As long as Riku Tazumi is still in charge, Nijisanji is not getting fixed.

I hope this company rots but speaking honestly, and purely from the perspective of big business collabs and shit... I doubt much will change on that front. They lost that collab with that one PC company, but most industries just want a spokesperson for their merch and if Niji is good at anything it's whoring out their talent to be a corporate mouthpiece. They've already collabed with Sanrio, Good Smile didn't cancel the Nendoroids, none of the big companies rescinded game perms -- the majority of the corporate world just does not care about interpersonal drama as long as it's not human trafficking or pedoshit. The die-hard sisters are too retarded to go watch anything else, and as long as they have that audience of schizoid gachis, they still have an audience to preach commerce to -- so those collabs will keep coming. Even if people complain, unless you have an actual connection with those PR departments, your comments are mostly delivered to :null. Nijisanji has absolutely trashed their reputation and made fools of themselves, but I honestly doubt the EN branch will go anywhere. The girls will -- should, god I hope -- graduate, but no one watches Nijisanji EN to watch women. The guys will remain, because they aren't affected by this by and large, and being affiliated with the company of faggots gets them a fujo buff that being indie would never give (because women don't really watch twitch, either.) In a year this will be old news. People have clearly made their decisions -- people with dignity and taste watch anything else, and sisters watch their homoslop. Unless they all pull a Mysta and expressly tell their fujos to fuck off and die, EN will continue on as a moderately successful zombie company from just doing the bare minimum. Fucked up, frankly, but what could you expect from a company that hired a literal troon and a literal faggot? As long as they got the "progressive" buff they can't lose because of the usual reasons. And the faggot being racist doesn't matter to them, because these people think racism doesn't matter if it's against white people.

TL;DR everyone that matters reviles them but the business world won't care, fujos don't care, and woke libtards think the company is progressive so they won't drop it either. And there's enough of those retards to keep this company afloat for months if not years.

>fujos don't care
True. This is Niji EN's audience today. Rabid sisters. (Male) Western fans I guess also many female Western fans left with Pomu and Selen. Those were their only female talents with any pull in the West, the only one that actually made money. The talents that have to fill their footsteps now are Rosemi and Scarle, but both of these are far smaller and Niji EN is now such a debuff that they have no way to grow. They just keep the last ones around and those fans that left genuinely wish for them to follow them so that they enjoy are more healthy environment in which they can thrive.
>and woke libtards think the company is progressive so they won't drop it either
Those people are either those fujos in which case you're absolutely right or Twittards who don't watch streams. However, Twitter is more like a hive mind that, in most parts, actually agrees that Nijisanji is evil. This may be the only point in which 4chan and Twitter mostly agree with each other.

Basically, Indonesia's second president was a very successful US-backed dictator whose underlings have become political dynasties where, to this day, still have massive political and monetary power.
So yeah, good chance she's part of one of those dynasties. These are people who, I shit you not, used to kill thugs/political dissidents in broad daylight and people around just assume they deserved it and moved along. At that point you just know EN branch will be disolved and merged into JP branch.

And it's kinda ironic because all this issue can be rooted back mostly to a single reason: Elira's Clique. So NijiEN going under will be mainly due to the Clique thinking they were untouchables and could get away with anything.

Although she never mentioned how she felt about Selen getting terminated, it was pretty obvious how she felt. She had a membership stream the day Selen got terminated where she cried twice during the stream, and then cried again in another membership stream the day after Selen got fired.
The day of the blackbox stream, she was supposed to have another membership stream. However, myself and others noticed that she had a pinned message in the stream chat saying “Do not bring any of that BS in here.”. This was around the same time people noticed she hearted the Kurosanji comment.

The problem fundamentally was never NijiEN, if you haven't noticed for the past 2 years they've been quitely sitting in their corner, while this board has been chimping to high heaven. The problem has been and always will be Hololive fans who will perpetually attack everything that is not Hololive. Nijisanji got the brunt of it, because they were number 2, but now you're seeing the target slowly being moved towards Phase Connect. Also have you also noticed how every small corpo - without exception - is being called a black company straight from the gate? Weird, eh?
>Aloe was bullied by Nijisisters
She was bullied by Holofans and then they started gaslighting like there's no tomorrow. There's a reason Fuwamoco smashed the panic mute button during the Holostars promo and it has nothing to do with Nijisisters.

Sorry but it might already be too late unless your a fan of the males. A large of chunk of the girls viewership fucked off and are watching other streamers, never to return unless they come back as indies.
Sisters will be the most unbearable as they attack ex-Nijis and try to find some new male to fill their bfe shaped hole in their heart before eventually realizing most maletubers don't want to do that shit

Yeah, they will most likely sweep it under the rug and hope that everyone will just forget about it, which wouldn't happen lol
I don't want NijiEn to collapse but it will most likely happen. Better to brace myself for the shit storm
I meant gatekeeping the Nijisisters, not the actual livers themselves. If the livers to jump ship to another corpo or be an indie, I'd support the girls with the exception of Elira, Millie, Enna and Reimu. The guys can fuck off, I guess.

>I'd watch streams
You won't. You'll watch week 1, maybe drop a supa or two during week 1 and fuck off. In the first six months there is a small possibility you'll watch 10 or so minutes of 4 or 5 streams when they came up on your recommended list. After that Youtube will give up and start treating you like a deadsub.
This isn't the first rodeo saviorfags have had.

NTA, but supporting someone doesn't have to just be financial. Watching streams and vods, doing anything on their socials or interacting with the community are all ways of supporting them.
Personally I've never bought a single piece of merch or been a member to any vtuber, but two weeks ago joined Mints membership

I've seen saviorfags save and abandon a fuckton of people over the years. (You) have X amount of hours set aside for streamers / vtubers and that amount isn't going to suddenly increase.
Either you already have a set of streamers you're comfortable with and will keep your X hours watching them, or you're someone who changes streamers every few months. In both cases it's unlikely for you to switch to a long-term support to someone you haven't supported until now.
Ergo, the saviorfags abandoning the people they save.

Just put up 5-6 streams at once. If you can't understand what's going on while watching only 6 streams, that's a genuine skill issue.

Why Reimu? I know about the "attempt" tweet, and that pre-Niji Discord thing with the sex pest (and to her credit, she distanced herself from him and his circle once she found out about his buggery)
But she's had a collab with DTTO after 2/5, and has publicly supported Mint; she's the only active Niji EN to have done either. I'm not sure what she's done to warrant a lack of support.

The other three, though... you're right. May they stay in Nijisanji forever.

Yeah, to be honest I sort of doubted myself when I typed in Reimu. I actually liked her the most in Ethyria. But with the "attempt" tweet and her Dokibird reference reaction in that kusoge, I don't wanna risk it.

>> No.74820709

Her reaction to the Doki cameo was panic. She was worried about getting fired or otherwise punished for allowing Doki's likeness to appear on stream, so she dropped the item as fast as she could; and then picked up and quickly dropped a few other items (while making puking noises) to make it look like her reaction to Doki was part of a bit rather than existential dread.

The "attempt" tweet is a bit tougher to forgive, but not entirely unforgiveable. Without the context of the timing, it would have been an unremarkable reference to the "there was an attempt" meme; and while she may be ESL, she's definitely too fluent to not understand what the word "attempt" means in the context Doki used that word, and is also probably too fluent to be unaware why making a "there was an attempt" joke at that point of time would be viewed as distasteful.

It's not that they can't fix their reputation in the west, "the west" simply doesn't want them anymore. The popular ones bailed out and Elira sunk her channel for the sake of being petty. Some people merely tolerate the company for their oshi and there's basically nowhere else to go for women who both like male vtubers and want an active community, but the ones actually controlling the narrative want Niji to fuck off back to Japan and don't care if it actually improves

Yup, people only care about the talent they like now. Most people despise the company.

Other then the ones that are stuck in NIJI cause they are radioactive now like Ellira etc. people are just now waiting for their OSHI to reincarnate in another company.

It's circumstantial at best desu.
I'm on the fence with her. I could be convinced either way.
Either way I actually can see people going to check them out after departure, but it's really on the girls to force people to stay. I checked Sayu out because of the termination notice and fell in love almost instantly with her energy and honesty. A year later and I'm still pretty happy with my investment. She's great.
