I remember fair competition in reality shows. The favourite absolutely fucks up and should be on thr chopping block but they never go through with it 'cause of your potential' while the others get shafted till the judges favourite is in the finals with the real hard workers which they don't quite like. The average ccv for nijisanji is not much better than VSPO or vshojo, they win in bulk because they have more vtubers than any other company. Not to mention that their views are declining YoY, while VSPO is making gains.
And to be fair, the only reason neo porte even rates overall, is the stupid numbers Hal gets for Vsaikyo. Though that's an excellent feather in any agency's cap. A vtuber with:

As for the other two, there's not a void in JP for vtuber specific, industry-wide events like this, the same way there is in EN.
Then, I'm not sure what you mean by "her groupies", her events were initially open to all Nijisanji, then management restricted that to only NijiEN out of the blue, so she kept running events for anyone in NijiEn who wanted to participate, and everyone participated in wrestlesanji, remember. Then for the only cross-company tournament, the only reason it seems anything moved forward, was the boys getting cover involved.
As for "troublemaking", I'd have to assume that NijiEN management (and I actually do mean the high schoolers in ill-fitting suits and the 'jeets/cryptomonkeys/grifters running the show) was competent or capable or at a minimum, not malicious, and the friction was undeserved. There's too much evidence to the contrary, ignoring everything said by Doki or revealed in the terminations. Heck, I don't even have to believe other departed livers. This is illegal in every western country I'm aware of. She has a legal right to hire a lawyer and negotiate her contract at any time. Further, hiring a lawyer to negotiate a contract when unforeseen circumstances lead you to be unable to deliver the expectations of said contract is just how its done, down to and including asking for an early dissolution of the contract under reduced or no penalty, depending on the circumstances. Please don't talk about contract and labor law when you don't know what you're talking about. You are literally saying that Nijisanji did something illegal here.

I agree with a good deal of this, but she definitely had to clash with management over more than game permissions. Like, when they nearly scuttled her outfit contest, by fighting her over the prize pool (which was always going to be her own money) or sending out predatory contracts to participating artists.
Thing is, the cheaper products, her tournaments, which couldn't have required more than a few hundred, were the ones NijiEN was least equipped to deal with, hence the eventual requirement that she could only invite NijiEN's, and her eventually stopping running them at all, at least until cover got involved with the tsb custom.
