I'm putting together a simple card to show Shondo that, despite her struggles causing her to go on hiatus, she is still in our hearts and minds. Submissions still need to be SFW and have image dimensions that are a multiple of 200 (i.e. 200x200, 400x400, 200x400), but they do not need to be as involved as the submissions people usually make for the birthday cards. They can be simple doodles, a short scrawled message telling her that you love her or to get well soon, anything you want to make that shows Shondo you're thinking about her and you're rooting for her. The only stipulation is that due to lore importance her neck and wrists must be covered by something, whether it be her usual ribbons or obscured by something else. And don't submit any huge paragraphs of text. The deadline for this card will be April 30th, I'll decide on a time as that date gets closer

Funny thing about that as a Chat Derek, he was getting auto-read for a short while once he picked up steam. She alternates who gets that treatment most days but it really stuck out with him because of his spam.
But that plummeted suddenly and now he'd be lucky to get 2 reads a stream despite his quantity. She likely notices when you do vomit genuine spam at her and it's clearly off-putting.

That's needlessly grim. As far as health goes this break will be extremely good for her if she's actually institutionalized because they can regulate her medication better instead of just going to her regular doctor and asking for more drugs because the dosage isn't working anymore. I think her biggest problem is the fact she refuses to seek out anyone beyond that family doctor which she admits is incredibly incompetent. This is the same doctor that killed forest elder by ignoring the fact he had covid and nearly killed shadowmama by not detecting her cancer sooner. I think if she actually got a second opinion with another doctor they would notice just how fucked up her situation truly is. Barely sleeping, not eating, getting winded by even the slightest of exercise, popping loads of antipsychotic pills just hoping that they work eventually.

That's the thing. I feel like her physical health decline is more self inflicted. Like her mental health problems have become a crutch to justify not taking care of the rest of her body as well. When you don't eat and you barely sleep of course your energy is extremely low because you're malnourished and fatigued. I hope this break is what can get her out of this funk and lead her into some much needed self improvement both mentally and physically.

every waking moment of her life is spent directly effected by her disorders, that's a fact, and they wax and wane in how severe they are. was she eating better and sleeping better at one point? maybe, but that doesn't mean now she's not struggling immensely with it.
