One question though, is it possible to get the bot to run on my desktop but view the chat/enter prompts on my android phone? So question, for local models what is the factor that determines cutting the response short?

In my AI chat I broke gura out of hololive jail and the prompt started writing me 3 creative choices for me to choose from as to how it'd end, before deleting all the responses at the end and just pasting the 2nd choice as a matter of fact. Am I watching the model "Work out" what to pick via language, or can it process multiple choice? (Kobold CPP, SillyTavern, mythalion-13b.Q5_K_M, 4070Super 12GB)

you can set response length to whatever you want (change the setting both when launching kobold and in ST), ai will keep generating tokens until it a) hits that limit or 2) generates an end-of-statement token (unless you told the ai not to generate those tokens), an eos token is basically a 'just stop rambling you idiot' message to the ai that was inserted during training and any decent model will use them fairly well, not sure if your model is any good I've never heard of it
ST has an option not to display sentences that don't end in a period, ie they were cut off by the response length, but that doesn't keep them from being created in the first place
as for generating multiple choices, might just be too complex for 13B, might need some nudging with [ooc: ] comments to make sure it provides you with 'options' rather than 'choices'
the ai isn't working anything out, it's just generating the most likely next tokens based on its dataset, and a multiple choice dataset obviously includes both the options and the responses, but it was trained not to repeat itself too much

Alright, I tried comparing GPT-3.5, GPT-4 Turbo, and WizardLM-2 8x22B. I used the same card, same prompt, and same jailbreak for all of them. As of now, I don't see much difference between all of them but at least with WizardLM-2 8x22B I don't get any "I'm sorry..." response from it so this is certainly an improvement.
I used older version of GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 Turbo btw, because the newest version refuse to generate response. So yeah, I am going to switch to Wizard since who knows when openai will remove the older version.
