Multiple reasons. Babiniku vtubers are a real thing, as the people mentioning Noracat have pointed out. The issue there is that they’re pretending it was some big reveal instead of a minor fuckup, since they don’t realize that voicechangers are too shitty to not be obvious to anyone with half a brain. It’s also taking the realvoicefag mindset of “people can’t have naturally high-pitched voices” to its logical conclusion of “that can’t be their real voices because they aren’t women.”
