What are you current writing processes/rituals? Lately I like to do a little warm up session of either outlining later things or talking about other stories/prompts not necessarily related to chuuba fiction.

I do the same with music, but I've had the current scene I'm writing on repeat for what feels like a month, I just need to write it. On the flipside though, I found a slew of songs that seem to relax my writing brain and also work as the perfect vibe for EDs for my series as a whole. I haven't tried speaking my dialogue aloud before, mostly because I don't want my wife hearing it and I solemnly get time when she's not within earshot. Not because I would think she would call me cringe or something but because she hasn't caught up and I refuse to give her spoilers.

My rule of thumb is that dialogue should be engaging without being distracting. Characters shouldn't be firing one liners left and right but it also doesnt have to be

It reads a little dry. Some descriptors/words are used back to back in a few places. The plot itself is kinda abrupt. I'm not expert or even an avid fan of grooming and molesting, but it feels like the proper buildup and emotional investment isn't quite there. There is also a clear disconnect between (You)r supposed established attachment to Ciyana and how the rest of it plays out. Then again, I'm probably not the target audience for this kind of stuff, so I might not know what the hell I'm talking about. I suppose as a fic it could use some more paint.
