I'm not a huge fan of discord. I'm not even in the mint chord because I can't afford to be in Mint Cord since I'm already in the maximum amount of servers and I'm not paying for fucking nitro. But it does create a whitelist filter, it does leave people in charge of moderation for you, it does allow you to have people able to swap whitelists and do reboots and etc

the java version of minecraft is horrendously unoptimized to the point where even just a single player world will have massive framerate drops in your main base once it gets big enough. even just two automatic chicken farms can start chugging. this will be even worse if it's a ton of people trying to build things next to each other

Yeah. Like I said in the last thread, you would have to use what's called bungee cord. And you'd have to set up multiple instances of Minecraft on each and every one of these servers. Ideally, everyone being told is true in 100 player cap is the max that you'd want to go to, you'd probably have to purchase two different dedicated servers with 64 GBs of RAM and an i7 each. Then you'd probably want to set up about three to four instances of Minecraft and link them together and then you'd want to do that on the other server as well. So you'd have at least six to eight instances of Minecraft on the servers.

That's how large servers like hypixel, vanillablock, wynncraft and etc work. It's also why they're so donation incentivized. Because it costs around €30 a month per server.

Honestly speaking I think that's going to be a flop. There's very little hype for it. Nearly half of the comments were people lamenting over the fact that their Oshi wouldn't be there. Not to mention the huge amount of cut content that's going to have to take place due to certain things.
Then the main branch will look at the fact that the EN branch failed to generate hype for yet another event and will decide to close it, hopefully by the end of the year.

Half of the comments were Pomudachis sad that Pomu isn't there, then there were dragoons sad that Selen wasn't there. People were sad that obsydia is getting their time cut because of events that transpired
There were even a few people in Japanese who were talking about the fact that they couldn't believe that the ticket prices were still the same when the lineup was missing so many people that were originally advertised.
Some Japanese people also talked about how they never got a refund for their last ticket and didn't want to buy another one when they hadn't even gotten refunded for the last one.

It sucks but you look at Reddit, you look at Twitter, you look at discord, you look here, the amount of people actually interested in it is pretty slim at this point.

Personally if I were in charge of it I would like to do what CCNet does and I would like to establish a plugin that creates an entire world, like a one to 100 scale of the actual world. I really like that. They also let you spawn in at a variety of different locations which is also cool. Like at the very beginning when you're picking where you want to spawn at, you could pick North America South America Africa Australia, etc etc.

The AR Live recordings were clearly done in like what was it September and October last year when the boys went to Japan and then they came back and then all the girls besides Pomu went. And Obsydia 3D Rosemi was talking about going to Japan in February for work way before Selen got fired. So either she had some special knowledge that Selen was fired and they were going to Japan to do 3D in response or it was always planned for Obsydia 3D to be recorded then.
