EN vtubers may be short lived on a per channel basis due to the in/out corpo shuffling but when you count all channels of [lumin]the voice inside[/lumin] as one do they actually retire that fast or often? Let's say 1 year of radio silence is considered gone, are there many vtubers that had a notable fanbase on /vt/ and disappeared? For the sake of discussion, I have autism and checked how much she's streamed, and not including her debut and debut 2.0, she's had roughly 31 hours of content in 5 days. That doesn't feel like the very start of a channel and certainly starts to feel like being left behind in terms of sheer hours on stream, especially if she's going to keep up that rate of streaming. Not one of the anons here but I just want to mention that Mero's debut was delayed for a whole month. She's been trying to catch up in numbers because, as most of corpo likes to forget, they're trying to make money too.

I'm also a working watcher myself and struggle to catch up to everything, but that's fine. We don't have to be there for every stream.
