Darktide with all the updates is fun if you actually have friends and don't try to min/max late game gear, Warhammer 3 is looking to good since it is getting major reworks for all the new DLC factions instead of just a couple new units, and that's assuming you couldn't get hundreds of hours in before the latest issues. Rogue Trader had a buggy launch but turned out great. And all it takes is reading some of the lore to get actually interested in it, Matara is so genuine in her interest that you autistic AND retarded to think she's somehow faking it when she talks about it to anyone with ears.

40k is easy to get into, because there are tons of entry points: games in different genres, animated videos, comics, dozens of books, high quality painted models.
The only thing that actually turns off from Warhammer is GameWorkshop themselves with their asinine decisions in recent years.
