The actually difficultly in terms of precision platforming of GoTB isn't really linear, so some of the jump in the higher parts of the map are actually easier than what came before them the punishment for failure is much harsher
Like, I unironically think she spent longer learning how to do the jumps in the Cat Tower than she did in the Waterfall area of the Sand Tower. but the risk of falling in Cat Tower will only send you back 1 - 3 screens while falling in the Waterfall area or Sand Tower means you're likely to fall out of the entire area itself
