Nah Riku made the EN branch a centerpoint to his pitch to investors. He has to prove some expansion into foreign markets.

The good people and good fans have left the company. They ran them off with their decisions, mistreatment, behavior and actions.

That would be pointless, because the branch is functionally dead already. Viewers are gone, donators are gone, the main talents are gone or checked out. They can keep going almost indefinitely, because they'll be able to cover their operating cost even with the current level of revenue (look at how long Wactor and Prism held on), but they will never get back their previous numbers and they will never be able to expand again.
Closing the branch would be the smartest thing to do at this point.

There's a part of me that wants NijiEN to go back to its pre-Iluna days, but every time I see NijiEN fans post on here that part dies a little bit more inside.
The recent happenings with Mint was disgusting. Basically, Mint's chat asked her to check lunchboxes in Shinkansen to find a Doki reference, which she found and joked about. Nijisisters were so determined to turn this into a yab against Doki (or her fanbase) that they raided /mint/ with their bullshit and stunk up that thread for the better part of SEA hours shitting on Dragoons.
Like, trolling in the catalogue and having a piss war against the holos is one thing, but fucking with Mint's thread to try to use her as a weapon against Doki is a new low I didn't ever expect them to ever sink to.
Holobronies can be pissants sometimes, sure, but they didn't even go this far against Magni and Vesper who many of them hated with a passion. The sheer unwarranted malice that so many of the sisters here have for Doki makes me wary of ever supporting a NijiEN comeback.

I'm not seeing any real improvements. The clique is still there, the manipulative lying people were not punished and didn't learn a thing and I doubt this will ever change. The only good thing with the approach to this about NijiEN is they won't have any new members in the foreseeable future and won't be able to poison anyone's career anymore.

That's nothing new though. We've had sisters raid /lazu+/ regularly since Selen's termination. Drama raids also happened often for every niji yab and every time Elira manifested signs of life.
There's no more coordinated attack there since the /mint/ split but that's because the drama raids mostly stopped (they got the split they wanted). Only the sisters continue hard at work and they will obviously target /mint/
