I think the stream idea is fine, but it has the issue of the conversation not being interesting enough even if you know japanese and the painting isnt interesting enough. Yeah personally I liked the more strategic play style of DS1 but to be fair that game was more "dynamic" than DS2 were your character can't dodge inmidietly after an attack making it a more "turn based" combat game. Personally I loved how dynamic DS3 was (I played it with a 120 FPS mod) it is I think the closest thing to bloodborne I'll play since I dont have a PS4. That being said you san still unga bunga the game with a heavy weapon and armor, I used the Lothric ultra great sword lightning blade build and the bosses droped like flies.

it feels like such a gross "WE HEARD YOU AUTISTS, HERE IS YOUR GAME WHERE EVERYTHING IS A TWO HIT MACHINE THAT WONT STOP MOVING" when i just dont want that to be the entire game.
Its fine for like, 4 bosses to be like that but an entire game where all the boss fights are "dodge,hit, dodge,hit" its too much. Id kill for a remastered DS1 with a finished endgame because that game has a good balance of gimmick, fast and slow bosses maybe they could also make blightown not a colonoscopy but knowing miyazaki, he'll just make it worse

yeeeeah not really. everything feels weightless and floaty in that game, it lacks a lot of impact and the hitstop doesnt feel satisfactory. Not saying its not viable, but its certainly not that fun compared to the earth shattering builds you can make in Ds1 and ER.
