I've also never done genocide because I made a promise to Sans and even if it's "just" a video game, out of respect for the story, I kepy my promise and never reset the game, but his fight is notoriously challenging and more like a bullet hell game than an RPG at that point. Alright, I get that, I'm too used to hyper-analyzing all the media I'm invested in. I think he gets it across in the lore videos he does have, but it really does work the best when you've watched him for a while. Kindred were speculating for years why he would kill people that tried to leave his clan.
