The selen one has more motion blurring and tweening going on, also more sfx like the little dust clouds on the jump.
Fuck I can't remember what the blurring style is actually called, it's not motion blur but it's that thing where you stretch a body part drastically to show quick motion. You can see a good example during the air guitar sections.
The new one clearly has a lot more exaggerated motions and more frames on each animation, though. I like both, but I miss the dust clouds on the stompies and the more exaggerated finish to the guitar section.
