My guess is that she applied for HoloEN4 (with references from Kiara and FWMC -- who she just recently met up with in Japan) and might even be at an interview stage. As someone who worked restaurant and retail for a few years before having steady office work, I don't understand how going towards retail is desirable at all. She's not going to Hololive. I can't believe it needs to be said, but apparently it does. There's 3 options for her when the podcasting period ends.
1. She recommits to being a streamer, and joins VShojo. They'd be happy to have her, she's got friends there, and they're already basically grooming her by doing things for her when she's not even in the group. Her debut will be with a new model, possibly with a new design to reflect her updated interests.
2. She recommits to being a streamer, and stays indie. Same as number 1, except without the joining VShojo part. She stays friends with the people she already knows, and she likely redebuts eventually with a new model.
3. She gives up on being a streamer entirely. It's a stupid decision, but she's got some unbelievably severe imposter syndrome. She'd be making a huge mistake, but it remains a possibility.

One of the big charms of vshojo is how... insular it all is. The slow pace of new members joining makes for a pretty cozy atmosphere. There's the core, and all of them have their individual friend group that pop in and out.
I mention this, because im pretty sure they know that's the value of their brand. And i think the core-four (mouse, mel, zen, and gunrun), are likely worried about their brand being known as 'the NijisanjiEN retirement home' or the place 'corpos go to die'.
So even though mint is a definite catch, they might be also wary of dropping a straight invite without establishing her in the group first.

The absolute worst case scenario is the (alleged) clique getting dropped in and completely fucking up the vibe. I think the doki stuff woke them up to this possibility, so they might just be showing some business savvy and protecting their brand a bit.
