Ethyria was honestly really good at the time. Millie had a ton of great, interesting streams like her CYOA stuff or playing coolmathgames out of fucking nowhere. Nina had her own vibe, and Enna was a firecracker with insane singing. Dunno about Reimu. Elira and Finana were fantastic early on before the valoguard thing killed Finana and Elira was doing reasonably well up until recently even. OG Luxiem was great, too. This. As much as they are hated now (and justifiably so), both Millie and Enna were very talented streamers who could have thrived with better management to curb their worst traits. Millie had a ton of creative ideas and was always willing to try new things (I still remember the undating stream), while Enna was an excellent singer and bounces off people very well in collabs. OG Vox was really fun when he's bantering with others; his British and crass humor was great.
But Niji management was incompetent and never actually managed their talents except to cover their own asses, so their talents were left to fester. Millie's people pleasing got worse. Enna's narcissism was ramped through the roof by her interaction with Kyo and with no one to check it. Finana's naivete got her in trouble and manipulated multiple times. No one helped Vox through the fujo attention he was getting so he ended up in this weird co-dependency with his own fans. And the truly talented and independent talents like Pomu and Selen got buried under this refuge and had to make their exit. You started seeing the worst of each of the Niji livers until it no longer resembled the NijiEN of the past. I think Elira hid her terrible traits the longest, though whoever in management greenlit that Black Screen video needs to never work in talent management ever again.
It's a really sad situation. I really did like NijiEN in the past, but the NijiEN of today doesn't even resemble that anymore.
