From the way it seemed, the Throne of War found the curse to be an unfortunate thing but nothing else. So likely the dream realm is not affected by those. Which is kind of fitting as things have been hinted at that being where Otikata really is. He's Super Mario 2ing it all.

Well this was an attempt to try ad get the excitement of clashes with story based powerups and a way to use narrative description to handle a duel. Regular dnd mechanics are quite limited when dealing with an actual Duel. Its more complex then that but that was the basic. Essentially an experiment to this arc. I am always trying new things to make the game better.

I really am enjoying the campaign so far, and I can't wait to see what comes next! It's really exciting to see a long campaign like this from the beginning.
I have only a couple of points of critique I'd like to bring up:
1. Regarding the bonus session you did with Haruka today, I think your ability as a narrator of combat really shown through. This, however, is something I noticed throughout the campaign that I think works better in her oneshot than it does outside of it. You described the fast-paced combat really well. However, I really want the girls to know that they can describe their own combat. I would like them to say what they want to do, roll, have you explain how much they succeed or fail, and then have them describe their actions.
2. Taking control of characters. I really, really loved Vei's RPing of Nia at the start of episode 6. After she was done with River, I noticed you basically took control of her character and had her attend to other characters in the party. I understand the temptation, but I would much rather you keep encouraging the girls to RP their own characters and improve at their ability to do so. I think, once they get more comfortable with it, it will lead to some really great story moments.
