Personally models are so secondary to me that they almost don't matter. I mostly watch vtubers in the background, so Mint could stream as a paper bag with a ghost drawn on it and I'd still love her. This short Nerd era was actually kind of nice, not needing to worry about a video stream.

I don't know man, I agree with you that Pomu was very generic, or at least seemed very generic at first since her design is very simple, but overtime that little bow became super iconic and her later outfits are super cute and bratty, they're also pretty attractive.

Meanwhile Mint feels very much like a Youmu clone to me. Maybe it is because I didn't live the days of Mint and I am just a VOD watcher. She's talked in memberfeesh about how her mistakes will always affect her growth. She's well aware she's not very popular and even laments that she's not able to fill a full crab game lobby which is why she's stopped doing large open lobby stuff and mainly done small lobby stuff and watchalongs
She doesn't have a beef with management necessarily but I don't really think outside of collabs she has a lot of reason to stay. All of her covers are self funded, she hasn't participated in a voice packs since last year and has talked before about how her tickets for stuff like meet and greets are always slow to sell out and it makes her feel sad.

Feel like I've seen this post before. At her own pace, I do feel that she should start stepping forward a bit, everyone around her is willing to help if they can. As well as branching out of the swamp she's in, there's so many games and content she could try, I thought Xenoblade was fucking impossible but look at where it took Elira, and she's been doing good with Yakuza, which she'll clearly continue,
people enjoyed the Uchikoshi games too. This is likely just a lull but it has been going on for too long again. But yeah it might not work out but she'd benefit from understanding why, even Elira and Pomu had to start from somewhere. It's not like she'll vtube forever but she shouldn't let this part of her life end on a hopeless note and do better or worse in the theoretical next. I want the best for her. I've enjoyed a lot of stuff she's played and she has branched, she's always the first time collab with the new waves she's always reaching out to people like aster and Aia because she wants to be seen as a responsible senpai.
It may be a lull I'm not sure honestly, but what I do know is before Pomu graduated, she started doing several collabs a week, never completely filling her schedule but never not having collabs. She started talking about one last big project and stuff like that. It may be my mind drawing parallels where there are none but I guess I can't stop seeing the similarities between how Pomu was acting towards the end and how Finana is right now.
I think she'd make it as an indie due to Matara and Mint and maybe even people like Melody helping her. She's pretty good at networking and has met people like Melody IRL at least 2x.
But I kinda feel like she's just floundering around in en, she doesn't seem particularly sad but she doesn't exactly seem like the happy feesh she was back in the day.
