The worries about slipups are valid and are going to happen but I don't think there's been a single instance of a vtuber actually doxxed by their family. Usually they've either doxxed themselves years prior or that info gets dug up right after the debut. So I don't really see an issue with that beyond making one party super embarrassed and the other super sorry for a week.
