Anyone have any experience/advice regarding handcam streams? I've been sitting on a Metal Gear REX and recently got a Gourai-Kai and have been thinking it would be cool to build them on stream. Hello Cabu here, looking for a vtubers to participate in LEARN TO CODE classrom collab on a Saturday 5 or 6pm PST. I seem to have 3 interested but looking for a minimum of 6 people.
I happen to be a decent programmer and developer and am wondering if people will want to collab and learn to make a game for the memes with me as the teacher.
The collab will consists of an 2hour class through discord screen share and the participants are expected to follow along learning how to code. There will be random call outs as in "ELLIOT STOP EATTING FOOD IN CLASS!" Students are encouraged to piss off the teacher.
Afterwards the participants will engage in a friendly competition (1hour long probably) to make a game using what they learned and chat will vote on who has the best game. This is entirely meant to be shitposty and to engage the participants to show off their creativity.
They are expected to do screen share so I can pop in and bug them during the competition phase. (Just like cooking competitions.) reposting cuz forgot image

In the settings there should be a physic option that simulates air and such. play around with that in order to make your model move a bit on their own, it looks a bit less stiff afterwards.

You can also change the head sensitivity a bit so a little head turn moves the entire body around. Don't recall how it worked atm but if I managed to find and change it, you'll be able to, as well

I don't think we're disagreeing but I don't think you followed my point. I think the hyper focus on things like tier lists (and who is and isn't on it, who "deserves" to be included, etc) are bad for the thread in the long run and ultimately hurt the thread's purpose. I'm not saying that people asking for advice can't self-ID (and many of them need to if they're going to ask for specific advice that depends on their specific case and isn't just generic tips about networking/advertising/tech/etc. When this place goes hard in the paint on social club stuff you create fertile ground for shitposters to just pick a name they see a lot or think is well-liked and stir drama. I'm in the process of drafting concept art for my model but I would like some advice. My natural speaking voice is a bit boyish (in a range that is similar to Hiodoshi Ao or Ange Katrina) and I think that it would seem out of place if paired with one of those loli/moeblob models. Should I lean into a more tomboyish/androgynous aesthetic or would that design choice detract from my model's appeal?

Avoid the tomboy aesthetic unless you are a fan of/appreciate the framework of it. In fact I would honestly say avoid any aesthetic you are not an immediate fan of, because you'll be looking at that model over and over again and growing to resent it. Androgyny is something you can play with, but the only ones who really actually make it work are tomgirls who play up the Trap card as hard as they can. If you have a design in your mind that doesn't fit either of these molds, but you're trying to completely shift it, you need to start completely over, because all elements of a design work together at the end of the day, and trying to fit one square-shaped concept into a circle-shaped mold is awkward and clunky.

In truth, the loli/moeblob models are also not guaranteed winners. There's plenty of big tiddy tubers with husky voices, foreign accents, and generally awkward behavior, and plenty of moeblobs falling by the wayside because they are facing the most fierce competition in the market. I'd say rather than bury it in an archetype, just make a design you personally like, and you'll find your voice will fit it just fine anyways.
