Every Ethyria member's design has something to do with traditional depictions of the obscure or the underworld in some way. A fallen angel (Enna), a kemonomimi (Nina), a ghost (Reimu) and a witch (Millie).

Not 100%. The theme is heaven and hell. Enna is just a bird, not an angel. But her and Nina form the heaven unit while Millie and Reimu are the hell unit.
Lorewise,
>reimu sudokued at her wedding and wound up as a ghost in hell
>millie lives in a box in hell, also she fused with a cat demon
>enna is just chilling i guess
>nina was the luckiest kitsune but got kicked out heaven for rolling the dice in human's favor
Thematically, Lazulight was the light wave and Obsydia was the dark wave. They wanted Ethyria to be neutral, and have a councilike balance theme going on.
It's a pretty good idea, but everyone but Nina was miscast.

This is where problems truly began and we all know it. And then came Luxiem.

until she left and suddenly went back to being an insufferable cunt publicly.

It was funny that they gave Enna the cute angel model since she is such a cunt.

more like she was okay when her stream topics and collab partners were restricted.
She lost all respect I had for her once she started shilling Quinn.

Wouldn't it have made more sense for her to debut in a wedding dress then?
>enna is just chilling i guess
Doesn't need lore, she was kicked out of heaven for her bad personality.

What the fuck is traditional about a kemonomimi
That's just the modern japanese word for anime furry girl

It's also wrong since Nina was supposed to be a celestial fox goddess.

uhh wasn't she already collabing with him in nijisanji?

>> No.72608157

I mean it's not wrong, kemonomimi is a catch all term for pretty much every anime girl with a tail and furry ears.
But specifically Nina was a 九尾の狐

Dunno, maybe. I absolutely hated kyo after seeing him a few times with Enna and checked out completely after the zaion termination. I went into sayu's stream to see what kind of monster she was, saw a scorned, sweet if a bit unstable girl, and became a niji anti within a few days (other than selen and pomu, who I just pitied and wanted to graduate).

Ethyria was the first major red flag for the branch, where they seemingly hired talents based on raw numbers or because they were buddies with other talents when they were indies. Luxiem was simultaneously what catapulted them to new heights and the beginning of the end of NijiEN.

I loved Enna.
Then I learned better.
Fuck you, Kyo. I would've probably been living in ignorant bliss if it weren't for you making her bitchiness obvious to even me.
