I dunno about anyone else, because frankly, despite how this place seems, it's not entirely a place that is "honest". Nerissa has self-confidence issues and has always since interacting with her various traumas, tried to work through them by appearing more confident, but you can see she zeroes in on negative things, but also appreciates being appreciated.

We saw both this stream, and despite people saying she seemed mad at chat, it didn't actually feel that way, only had some frustration and self-deprecating talk, but that is mainly because she wants to try to branch out, but doesn't enjoy rage games from a "I love the pain" type of thing.

For people saying "she's a masochist though, lolol" masochism in the sack does not equal masochism in games, just like you can like playing Soulsborne games or roguelikes for the pressure there, but not enjoy at all being tortured or teased in other places. I believe her when she says she is probably good in Zelda and Mario games, but that is probably again, how she views games. Once she understands taking one particular aspect, like for example, cognitively getting the various ways you use commands in Zelda to fight and acquire things, and uses that to learn more about the combat mechanics in Rebirth, she'll be fine on mechanics.

But I see people struggle with that type of stuff all the time, its the same mindset where people say, "I'm not a technician" or "I'm not tech-savvy" when dealing with some issues with computers. I dunno, maybe its because I have dealt with adults like that so long in life I get when people struggle so I don't get frustrated. If I could teach a retired teacher whose 90 how they can work a tablet to proctor a test to kids (they did this as volunteer work) I feel this stream was just fine. Not her best, but certainly not the worst.

Now this here, is very untrue. She may not be putting out a cover a month(and even then, she has performed in 12 for these past 9 months and 1 original, so its fine imo), but she definitely still deserves her Demon of Sound title. Why? Because we constantly hear her singsong on stream, talk and music, talk about performances or musicals, or just vibe about music. She feels like a musician (and theater kid) talking with you about stuff they like on the side. While also giving you her own weird ass tastes. She feels like someone just giving you herself, rather than trying to encapsulate a role, and I like that about her.

Everyone memeing on the "demon of sound" thing needs to remember that Irys originally debuted as a Vsinger, proceeded to release like 4 orisongs over her entire career, and then eventually just became a regular streamer like everyone else in holo, concluding with her merge into council.
