As much as I love this general (it being one of the few places I can actually talk about my oshi) it's probably doomed to die. Most posters here are nijien/starsen fans and they have more active generals to post in. There are people (myself included) who have boys with smaller audiences to talk about but we mostly just talk to ourselves within the thread, so...
cbdct was most active when there was a shit ton of drama involving en boys caused by females, and that seems to have died down for the post part. I feel like the only true way to revive it would be to have some drama start back up again so people use this thread to vent but I also don't really want that to happen, personally

I'm mainly a NijiEN fan but I don't go to nenmen anymore since their views and mine are way too different. And I wouldn't touch /mans/ with a 10 foot pole, too many annoying insecure men and discordfags there. Oh no I actually don't mind female ranting here either, I totally empathize with it. I was just thinking about how this thread's heyday was during the whole tempus+kronii debacle and I'd rather not have something of that scale happen again. I don't watch english vtubers so I have no idea what the culture of their generals are like, I just assumed people gravitate to generals that are more active and more specific to their interests.

Honestly though my favorite part of this general and why I still frequent it is just seeing people show love for their oshis even in ways that may feel kind of schizo Genuine enthusiasm for cute boys, even if I don't watch the ones in question, makes me really happy

And I don't think there was ever a time where ranting made up the most discussion in this thread except for that time but there was that one anon that acted like that's all we ever talked about lol. I really love hearing about other's oshi too! Paripiyume, Roberu anon, the Briskadet poster, and the JP anons all make me feel happy because they're happy. Mostly the ones posted here already like Bloom. I occasionally watch a Splatoon loving Sylveon boy named PercyPascalVT and a chill guy named FreeOfMe the rare times I can catch him. The one I've been watching the most has a rather.....unconventional vtuber model. His name's TheGoodJared and his models have all been ugly, but I like his chill voice and he's pretty funny. I love retro gameplays and he's relaxing to listen to. And his Hank Hill impressions always make me giggle. I hope to find more retro indie boys with low and relaxing voices like that. Or nerdy voices! I think nerdy voices are so cute.

Also, Ukiki has been live for a while with Supermarket Simulator! Shu was in his chat earlier since he loves the game so much. Uki has been very very cute lately!

Yeah him! I think I found him through a raid actually. It must have been late at night after work and I was falling asleep, and the raid didn't wake me up like it usually does when he raids a female www so I stuck around, enjoyed the stream, and decided to follow. His Secret Of Mana streams have been so nice and I learn new things about old games just like in Bloom's streams.

I know they didn't blow up in popularity (and that's a good thing), but I hope where they're at now is satisfying enough to where they don't feel like they have to chase numbers too much and start talking to girls.
