You can also pick up and try a few other pony derivatives I'm using animeConfettiComrade_v3 so you might want to take a look. One thing I noticed is that eyes are not as clear at cowboy distance and only really look good when they are close. Another thing I noticed is that styles are not as rock solid as I'd like, certain LoRA, or compositions can shift it quite a bit so there is some artist style weight adjustment that need to be done sometimes.
You'll need to download the artist LoRAs and run some tests I guess, I think we all had to go back to artist mixing when we picked up XL

Ok, sadly there is no easy guide since every guide I read the writer needs to add every minute detail in it and their tagging philosophy kek.
It's overwhelming to get started but pretty once you do,
1. Get pictures (30-40 for charactes, around 100 for styles)
2. Tag them, just use the autotagger, don't think too hard about it honestly kek.
3.Install this (It's pretty easy)

I wonder if that's the missing ingrediant. Latent upscale could make things look really good sometimes, but it's such a pain in the ass to work with that once we figured out that there were easier alternatives we left it in the dust. No, it's a full model with an embedded lyco because Forge/A1111 can't use a lora/lyco with just unet and no text encoder. it's only available in comfy and wanted to spare people from the horror of the noodles.
I was just testing its capability of using both pony and animagine loras.

The only thing I ever change is step count through the commandline, for characters it's always 1500 while with styles maybe it's higher. Haven't made a style lora in quite some time since hll and EF compatibility with loras I've already made caters to all my needs.

Pony is hard to merge with models outside of its branch afaik but pony merges should be fine. For other branch models to be merged into pony, you would need to be able to individually tune the CLIP/TE weight of the merge, separate from unet, which I have no idea how to do on supermerger, only in Comfy. You do need like 24gb of free ram (not vram) to merge though.
