I need more vtubers that watch movies and TV shows and talk about them. I may still play a lot of Japanese video games, but I don't give a shit about anime anymore. When I watch a vtuber that only seems to watch anime, I find it really off-putting.

I don't care (or necessarily want) a vtuber who watches current things because I don't watch current things anymore, I'm watching vtubers instead. But I do like people who aren't complete fucking retards and have some grasp of the world before they began streaming and in that case, most of them fail. The most common problem related to anime obviously being the only ones they can reference are the most generic shit and then they've never read a single manga.
