Most people are happy having "only" 26 other countries ready to visit at any time, even more so when the bureaucracy and time commitment to travel to countries in other continents is comparatively huge.
A friend of mine once boarded a plane to Paris, had breakfast there, and came back still in the morning, just for the sake of it. Oh, and doing this twice would cost him less than getting a passport.
