I understand that, but I feel like this mentality is preventing devs from exploring other aspects of the medium. Devs took such a long time to make an experience like PT because they didn't want to risk being called a "walking simulator".
There are autists in the community that will scream at any game that is more artistically focused rather than gameplay focused. Meaning most devs don't want to make artistic games because they risk not selling.
The success that PT had shows that there is a demand for this type of game. Devs just have to take the risk and ignore the vocal minority.

9/10, she adapted fast, looted everything and listened to chat for when she was confused. Not only she enjoyed the game, she was really into the story of it instead of trying to rush the game. From google sensei you can only vaguely tell the age of the turtle based on the length of it's shell or it's annuli rings, although you can't really tell the size of it's shell and compare it against an average snapping turtle to tell it's age.
I tried to count how many rings are on it's shell but the compression is pretty bad, it looked like there are about 7-8 rings and you need to divide that by 2 to get it's age assuming that it has been fed properly but you can't really see it in any further detail.
Maybe she can count it better in her own screen where youtube + streamable compression doesn't fuck up
