After some initial settling in and wine, you look across the small table at each other. She looks rather nervous. You try to show some confidence. "You look beautiful, Kana," you say. You walk out on the dance floor, holding her hand. She looks almost panicked. You don't know how you've mustered up this much courage, but you're here. You can't back out now. There's people all around you. You squeeze her hand lightly. "Follow me, Kana," you say softly, pulling her gently toward you. "Just focus on me." She nods, slipping into your arms, looking up at you nervously. This insecure face of hers is so sweet, it makes your heart swell. You put your arm around her waist, holding her close, asserting yourself. You begin the dance, awkwardly at first, but it soon starts to make sense as the two of you slowly move together with the music. You begin to get comfortable.
