I've just finished with a spreadsheet dealing with all NijiEN streams post-BSS. Over hundred streams which received any money--fully 30% of all post-BSS streams--made the livers less than U.S. minimum wage ($7.25/hour). The liver with the highest average wage--and best single stream--was Petra (thanks to her 3D debut), which netted her about $1100/hour. In general, the older livers did better, especially the first two generations of men. Only Finana broke from this group, with only two of eight streams passing min. wage. Maria is in a poor place, with 6/29 streams breaking that barrier, with Aster not far behind at 6/27. Aia and Scarle are both doing well, with all 24 and 26 streams, respectively, hitting $7.25/hour. For the newest generations, the men doing okay, but the women are worse off. Aside from two pretty good streams, Meloco made pittance on 10 others. The most recent gen (the one with "Bandage") is an especially poor situation given their quantity of streams: Wilson has 4/9, Vanta 13/17, and Bandage himself a meager 9/23.

The second one went over through Thursday, I thought. In any case, the restrictions have done their work: to artificially raise the stock price above what the market would have given it. And the behind-the-scenes stock manipulations are not unusual, especially seeing as what else Tazumi's been able to do. It also might be some higher-level investors getting on (with or without Tazumi's encouragement), which is certainly good for Niji--in the short term. It depends on how much faith they have in the HODL for Niji. And, honestly, I can't see that faith lasting much beyond that Q4.

Her social anxiety and depression has been a major factor towards her inability to hold a steady job. The era of Free Japanese money seems to ge over as Japan increases interest rates for first time since 2007.
The increase signals a tightening in Japanese fiscal policy as borrowers will now be forced to take the liability of defaulting in loans for the first time in 15 years. The effects on Vtubing has yet to be seen as many experts consider this to be a ceremonial step before further rate hikes are required.

For those unaware Japan had essentially been handing out free money to companies under a negative interestfiscao policy attemptingto stimulate their anemic economy. Many Companies including Vtuber companies who had been operating at a lose were essentially able to prop themselves up by taking on more and more debt much like many American start up TECH companies had during America's own experiment with Quanatative Easing and 0% interest. If interest rates continue to rise it could be speculated that many of the unprofitable Vtubing companies will begin to fold as the supply of free money dries up.

Just a few months ago we witnessed the sudden and unexplained closing of Prism Project which may may have been the first warning of vulnerability in the Vtubing Sphere to further interest rate increases. We will continue to monitor the situation the next meeting of the Bank of Japan will occur April 25th.

Since the YouTube numbers are only for the last 20 days, the equivalent for VShojo would be about 3.3M hours watched. Even if we divide that in half because of Twitch numbers, that's still 1.6M hours watched compared to NijiEN's 942K hours watched.

I can see some of the vtuber-dramatubers siding with Pochi immediately because they are big supporters of talent freedom and are v-shojo adjacent.Other vtuber-dramatubers will side with idol because idol paid them for promoting them and doing donothon watchalongs in the past and they want to get paid again, even if the chances that Idol survives is looking more and more slim.
The flesh-dramatubers are a different story. A lot of those lawtube grifters are libertarian/capitalists and if the company seems to be doing things legally and the "do work first to get paid for the donothon money" argument wins then I can see them siding with Idol over Pochi. The first one also does a monthly rundown where they list off changes in viewership for each chuuba and theorize why those changes might be happening. Oh I don't disagree that Idol had no choice but to drop Riro Ron and the offending manager, but they didn't have to air their dirty laundry to the general public in the process.
