Unironically incredible how both Hololive and cute anime girls improved my life. Lost a good amount of weight and started lifting since I started watching them, and I'm trying to put more efforts into stuff. I still rarely go out and spend most of my life in my bedroom, but with a great family, relatively good looks, and an oshi who makes me happy, I can't complain about the things I have.

Yup I graduated into neetdom one year before covid. Had a blast watching EN debut, easily one of the most entertaining threads on 4chan very reminiscent to for example the Steins;Gate and Code Geass threads. Vtubers eventually gave me the kick of motivation to apply for jobs and COVID gave me an easy excuse to wave off 2ish years of being a neet.

If it makes you feel any better, I got the higher education part but the jobs all wanted experience I didn't have so I went into retail anyway. My degree is useless (Chemistry degree from the UK where jobs want experience AND the pay is pretty shit if you do get a job, e.g. analytical chemists get £22k. If you do STEM it should be tech or engineering.)

My point is. don't act as though someone is better than you because they have a degree. Degrees mean nothing now.
