The one chance they had to probably salvage their company to regain footing was lost due to greed or cost cutting at the wrong time with not keeping the Indonesian management supposedly for management other branches or at least not using the poo in the loos. He basically said he considered Selen a friend and was shocked to know the documents with its contents as claimed supposedly by Nijisanji existed and was hurt and disappointed. He was the only one to actually try and play both sides saying to not harass anyone involved and to apologize for the silence with the situation from those people.
Going last also helped here after Elira and Vox basically lit the fire already, especially the revelation about the documents and what they included. Whatever kindling he added from his statements wasn't really inflammatory and he was really the only one to try and exercise some sort of adult response in the video that didn't involve throwing Selen under the bus and minimizing her situation. It's also why he was able to keep streaming unlike the other two. He kept it good and vague, which in comparison made it look like he was forced by management to do the video.
