It's bizarre how /vt/ fetishizes stream hours. Do people only watch one vtuber? Why constrain yourself to one person when so many good vtubers are out there?
Also, just streaming games isn't working hard. Kobo produces music, she networks, she does idol reps, she's mainstream in Indonesia. Even Zeta is more popular than Kaela to the point where she won a waifu contest. Kaela just plays games, and grinds a lot.
Not that I have anything against Kaela, she provides something different from Kobo or Zeta. But there is a reason why she has fewer subs than the rest of her gen. It's tough to say whether or not he's talented. I think it'd be better to say whether or not XQC puts in the same amount of effort and quality in his current streams when compared to previous ones. Getting large is the natural downfall for most creators because they hit the apex and don't have the same motivation to keep going.

This can be applied to VTubers as well, take Gura. It's not fair to say she's untalented; she very well is and proved that by getting to a high level. But she's no longer driven and is now doesn't need to put the same amount of effort in, so she doesn't. Which causes a weird disconnect for people, they see someone not insanely talented with a lot of clout. Where instead it'd be better to understand that these individuals are simply lapping the rewards of their creations.

For example, it's not insane to see many millionaire's working and living lives not too insanely different than your average middle-class person.
