The mainstream wll consider retro anything nostalgia-iducing, thus calling them niches, and over here we predominantly say that one should find a niche as soon as possible just to try and convey that it's better to be good at one thing than average at everything.
The pool of viewers that you can get from retro/nostalgia is far too wide, but it still is a type of niche so that is already a step.towards the right direction. Just guide yourself om thinga like "these consoles are retro, beyond this year it's also retro, and there are these sagas who are mostly retro" then find, once again, what you wish to play the most inside them.

It's the lalafell! I don't actually know if you're a lalafell but the eyes and ears remind me of them a lot. A simple design for a simple man. It gives me 'the adventurer at the start of his d&d campaign before he finds a bunch of cool magic shit', it can definitely be added upon in the future.
