Honestly, I'd have to disagree. Mio's husband being a noncharacter bad guy is kind of the one necessary sacrifice that story has to make in order for it to have a proper ending (even if the Anon writing it can't seem to write it). Since I was one of the few people that saw the version where the husband lets the divorce happen after getting a change of heart while at a hooker (I'm going to be honest I barely remember it) and it just sucked since it stripped the story of its last hurdle before it could satisfyingly end it. As much as the author wanted/wants to go to fluffy Mio stuff afterwards Tb17A is fundamentally a whirlwind romance that needs those dramatic trials and tribulations to work.

Not really imo. If the husband was an actual character then he could have his own mini arc of realizing what he let slip away and how Mio herself transformed his life (for better or worse). Maybe he discovers the cheating and confronts her.
Mio could have gotten an entire arc where she comes to terms that shes being selfish and that she cheated on her husband.
Hell, anon himself should be feeling a bit bad about the husband. Of course we are talking hypothetics here but thats why i said the non character robs a bit of depth everywhere, since its okay for him to get cheated on.
I think you can end a whirlwind romance in a happy ending but aside from those trial and tribulations that you mentioned, the story kind of needs things to be caught in the crossfire since it cant be all sunshine and rainbows.
Taking this lamy example here, Nene/Polka being caught in the middle is tragic because if two of your best friends are cheating and you caught wind of it then you two wouldnt know what to do aside from lend an ear and grit your teeth.
Without that... what's the problem aside from cheating? Since the husband is someone we dont know, we wont feel bad and thus we can easily just walk away from the problem

The relationship between the two isn't developed or established, and if I remember correctly Reine in Ch.1 just drops by after a shower on his bedroom. Not only is it weird, Reine would sleep together with her 17yo nephew, but also Basuki jerks it to Reine, which Reine doesn't find concerning? What led to them having such a high degree of trust?

If I may weigh in on this too, it sounds like you haven't been sure what the exact relationship between Reine and her nephew is just yet. Like you know you want them to fuck, but it's almost like you want to just pluck them out of their own rooms while they're masturbating so they are riled up enough to fuck the first thing that has a pulse in front of them, ie their nephew/aunt respectively. So let's go through the parts you got so far that work nicely for their relationship and can foster a codependency / place of comfort between them.

Potentially a pretty deep and cool dynamic to explore. Is his aunt the exact same as the streamer she plays as? Does it feed further into the desire to commit incest because of a power play to have sex with the one desired by thousands? Does Reine want to be more to someone than just the chuuba?

I think I can see where you're both coming from in that regard. Having the overall draft and plot points mapped out I think helps a lot with managing periodic releases, but I also know that those are subject to complete overhauls just because you thought of something appropriate or cool that's new in the middle of your writing.
Depending on the degree of your edits, I think revising/enhancing previous chapters is alright, but mostly with what you mentioned about beautifying.
Posting the first chapter though can get you some really helpful feedback, which can help make your next chapters a lot better. There's a balancing act for the whole thing, and you ultimately gotta do what feels right for you.

I see that error all the time when scripting. It means I didn't put positional arguments in the image I'm displaying (using a colon necessitates positional arguments).
Since the PC excepts my lazy scripting (putting a tab/space in the midst of a show statement), I figured it didn't matter, but now I'll be more cautious.

If Reine online and offline are pretty much the same, you should emphasize the subtle differences there actually are that only the MC gets to experience. You're trying to cook a dish that shows how their relationship is special and that this isn't just picking up or flirting with some new stranger.
Again I think you're letting a strange shitposting hivemind muddle with your characterizations and world building. Your average viewer who just cares about their oshi isn't gonna get rabid off them remarking that they're spending time with their family. Don't paint a world like that if it won't actually impact the story. Now if you wanted it to possibly get leaked somehow that Reine was fucking a man and that her reputation could possibly tank, that would be a tasty bit of drama if handled correctly. It could be something fiendish like one of her family members somehow getting a vid of her getting plowed and threaten to release it if their demands aren't met. Her being bi is fine, but you gotta express that clearly. Like I've dated a few bi women before, and there's a few nuances that should be conveyed. If her biological clock is ticking, that's a major factor that needs its due attention.

I think its because both ends of the extreme experience the limerence of romance differently. On the younger end, romance is a new and scary experience so there are a lot of avenues to explore. Combined with surging hormones, Limerence there is like a forest fire, wild and out of control.
On the older end, the characters are more seasoned in romance and romantic feelings. This means when someone does spark that limerence it comes across as that much more impactful. Limerence there is like a smoldering campfire, constant, hot, and waiting to have its embers stirred. Both ends also communicate a "soul mate" aspect. Youthful innocence in the belief of eternal love, and Older belief in your destined one.
A middle-of-the-age romance is also a middle-of-the-road romance. Seasoned enough to know what to do but not aged enough to be alluring. Young enough to be relatable but not innocent enough to be compelling.
I think a mid-20s romance story can work if it focuses on barriers that mid-20s people have to deal with in terms of romance. Feelings of isolation and loneliness, insecurity in your game, work and school providing opportunities too good to pass up, etc.

I'll continue by adding that Young and Old romances are two sides of the same coin. Both are beliefs and rewards in the idea of a soul mate. Young rewards the innocence of love with eternity.
The appeal of a Young romance is the universal experience. You root for the main couple to get together because you yourself have been in a similar position to some extent. That first timeness has a purity to it that everyone wants to succeed and continue forever. It is the belief that by holding onto that pure initial feeling, you will have your destined partner. Think the all-American high school sweetheart.

Old rewards the faithfulness of love itself with meaningful love. That if you follow the red string you will find your other half. It's the fateful encounter at an otherwise empty bar. The appeal of Old romance is the reassurance that it's never too late for anyone, even (You), to find love. You root for the couple because you want them to finally find the happiness they deserve. That reward gives you hope in a reward of your own or reminds you of your own fortune. It's a universal appeal rather than an experience. Not everyone leaves Middle School or High School with romantic experiences or even feelings but everyone grows old and has a moment where they assess their life and worry.

Middle romance is neither of these things. It's the dirty work of romance that nobody likes to talk about. It's the flings, the ghosting, the long road of going to bars and hitting on women and rarely getting a third date. It's the learning process of both romance and of yourself. How to dress, how to talk the talk and walk the walk. That age range is more about finding yourself and establishing your presence in the world. Hell, your brain doesn't fully finish developing until you’re 25. If you don't know yourself how can you know someone else?

I think why Young and Old are so horseshoed is because of that establishment of self. Old couples know themselves. Young couples don't but think they do. Middle couples know they are not and are still in that process. Thus, the lack of appeal in Middle romance is because of its normalcy. There's no magical moment. You just asked the cute girl in your English 101 course out and 6 years later you're married. It's fine but not compelling. It doesn't speak to a core emotion because it's such a varied process.

A good romance requires limerence, it requires barriers that need to be hurdled. And like I said, I think you can write a Middle romance if you focus on the broader barriers. Trying to find love while navigating a brand new world of being an adult. The feelings of constant self-doubt about everything, the dissonance between feelings and reality, etc. If both characters are working adults, you can make the barriers the feeling of not being prepared or worthy of their love. Or even social barriers, like, falling in love with a world-class idol.
I actually think that Kanokari, before that manga became irredeemable, brought up some of those same ideas.

I think my ideal Middle romance would be two people self-actualizing with each other, or two people realizing that their pursuit of being adults is blinding them or leading them astray. It would be the Middle ground of the two, so to speak.
