Have you seen artists drawing on-model art, especially smaller ones for lesser known chuubas? I used way more off-model images than that due to the lack of input in my datasets.
Do you have somewhat unlimited generations? If you want we can work together on a lora for Rinmama in the next few days as a proof of concept. It's just that you would need to do most of the work in getting around 20 images like that with different styles. I'll take care of everything else. Clothing/posing does not matter in this case as I see it's already very versatile so that's perfect.

I've used AI data before. The problem was the styling of the 1.5 models creating those images resulted in every image made with that lora look like abyssorangemix on other models as well. I even used fully synthetic dataset at one point to make somewhat of an "oc". However this style reference changes things, together with being able to achieve a character similarity on the fly.

ImagineKohaku was my first attempt from a few days ago, but I don't recommend it. AniKohaku is the one I am using now.
The folder also has the artists and characters trained on Kohaku.
If you have comfy, as far as I know you can just drag the checkpoint in the UI and it will show the workflow just like a png would.

You can add completely new elements to an image with inpaint using the latent noise or latent nothing setting with full (1.0) denoising strength.
Or you can generate/draw the other characters the way you want separately and then paste them on top and inpaint them with lower denoising strength to make them blend with the image

I'm awake again! Trying out more of that Character Reference feature. I'm down to try to make some gens of obscure VTubers or VTubers that don't have a lot of well-drawn art of them if you're trying to make a LORA of them! Just keep in mind:

1) I only need one image of the character, but the more the merrier. Ideally one full body and one portrait shot, so it has a good reference for both outfit and face.

2) There will be a lot of things off-model, especially in regard to their outfits if they're really complex.

3) Head accessories are fucked.

4) Complicated hairstyles are fucked.

5) Characters with overtly-horny designs are filtered out in inputs. I can output characters in bikinis, but I can't use an image of a character in a bikini as an input image, for example. Yes, it's weird like that. Needless to say, if her tits are like, five times the size of her head, that'll probably get flagged too.

6) If you want to see a character in a specific style, feel free to link to an image or give me an artist name!

7) I can gen them wearing different outfits.

8) It works for non-human characters, and suspiciously well for furries, so if you want me to try a VTuber really out there design I'd love to take a crack at it.

If Rinmama-Anon is online, I can start posting pics of her for the LORA training, too.

quick tip, you can just use this button and turn the lora off in the main prompt box

Depends, some style LoRAs need it some don't (picrel is just base gen w/o hires)
usually if they are badly baked or just the style involves detailed things it helps but you can get away without using it.
I use a pretty different but I think standard one is "3D, sketch, source_pony, source_furry" but lots use their old 1.5 ones and it seems to work.

I was an idiot and tried running SDXL on my laptop's 1650ti 4gb. It wasn't a good idea. While it works, it does so with 10 it/s and for a few minutes I thought I was right next to the Starship launchpad.

Excluding the 3 extra toes, socks with pantyhose is a new thing for me.

Doing good, big crunch-time at work is over so I'm just chilling now, naturally beginning a billion different side projects. Currently figuring out 3D modeling for a custom boardgame design I'm working on, which is a lot of fun.
Going over to XL kinda takes me back a year, to when I was still figuring out the basics and none of my many meticulously practiced systems, loras, wildcards, etc. were usable. The big difference is smoother genspeeds with forge, better resolutions and overall less triplicate legs, so that's a nice change. Also even though we've been reset a bit, the lora wizards are on their A-game and new modules are really being pumped out on even pretty sparse data, so I imagine the recovery time until we have rough "feature parody" with 1.5 will be faster than the original time it took to make all that stuff. Future looks bright. Pony in particular is nice since I need less concept loras, however I do hope I can find a style tag or lora that helps with making better backgrounds.
