That's possible, but he likely did it out of personal spite because Mel out means a huge blow to the mental health and general motivation of her respective Generation, that's not good because it could lead to another member leaving in their own terms if it hits them at the wrong time, chain reactions like this happen across indie groups and smaller corpos, it also hurts the steady and slow gains and it hurts the investor's trust and the company's reputation as Hololive barely has graduations or terminations unlike CollegeSanji express.
